This is a learner of Japanese in the form of dialogues. The book was used in Sayeogwon, agency of translation and interpretation during Joseon dynasty, and was also used as a learner of Korean by the interpreters in Tsushima, Japan. This is a hand-copy of the book compiled by Choe Giryeong (1737-?) in 1790 (the 14th year of King Jeongjo's reign) as a learner of Japanese. On the left is Korean in mixed script in Hangeul and Chinese characters, one letter lower than Japanese in cursive style on the right. The inscription "Please learn the language from a Seoulite" indicates that the author favored the Seoul speech.
